How do I book a guided fishing trip?+
Booking a trip is easy! Browse our listings, select the trip you want, choose your preferred date, and click 'Book Now'. You'll be prompted to create an account or log in, then complete payment to confirm your booking.
Are the guides on Gone Guided verified and licensed?+
Yes. Every guide on our platform goes through a verification process that includes a valid fishing guide license, background check, and proof of insurance. We only list guides who meet our safety and quality standards.
What happens if I need to cancel my booking?+
Cancellation policies are set by each individual guide and are clearly displayed on the trip listing before you book. Most guides offer full refunds if you cancel at least 48–72 hours in advance. Please review the policy on the trip page.
What should I bring on my guided fishing trip?+
Most guides supply all fishing equipment, bait, and tackle. You'll typically need to bring a valid fishing license, food and drinks, sunscreen, appropriate clothing, and personal identification. Check your booking confirmation or contact your guide for a full packing list.
Do I need a fishing license?+
Yes, in most states anglers are required to hold a valid fishing license regardless of whether they are on a guided trip. It is your responsibility to obtain the correct license for the body of water you'll be fishing. Your guide can advise you on which license you need.
How do I become a guide on Gone Guided?+
Click 'Become a Guide' in the navigation menu or footer. You'll complete a quick application, submit your guide license and insurance documents, and our team will review your profile within a few business days. Once approved, you can create and publish trips immediately.

How do I contact my guide before the trip?+
